சிறிலங்கா ஜனாதிபதி மகிந்த ராஜபக்ச லண்டனிலிருந்து தப்பியோடத் தயாராகி வருவதாக நம்பகரமான தகவல் வட்டாரங்களிலிருந்து தெரிய வருகின்றது.
லண்டனில் தனக்கெதிரான எதிர்ப்பலை இவ்வளவு தீவிரமாக இருக்கும் என்று கனவிலும் நினைத்திராத சிறிலங்கா ஜனாதிபதி தற்போது நிலைமை கட்டுமீறிச் செல்லும் நிலையை எதிர்கொண்டால் விசேட தனி உலங்கு வானுர்தி மூலம் விமான நிலையம் வந்து தப்பிச் செல்லத் தயாராகிக் கொண்டிருப்பதாக அவருடைய செயலாளர் ஒருவர் தன் நண்பனொருவருக்கு அனுப்பிய தகவல் மூலம் தெரியவருகின்றது.
அவ்வாறு இக்கட்டான நிலைமையொன்று ஏற்பட்டுத் தப்பிச் செல்ல நேரிடலாம் என்ற அச்சம் காரணமாக தனி விமானமொன்றையே தயாராக வைத்திருக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்குமாறு அவர் தன் செயலாளரிடம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.
தற்போதைக்கு மத்திய லண்டனிலுள்ள அதி சொகுசு “Dochester” விடுதியில் தங்கியிருக்கும் சிறிலங்கா ஜனாதிபதி தனது ஒக்ஸ்போர்ட் உரை ரத்தானது குறித்து உச்சக்கட்ட கோபத்தில் இருப்பதாக அறிய முடிகின்றது.
இலங்கை தொடர்பில் வெளியாகும் போர்க்குற்றச்சாட்டுகளை மறுத்துரைக்க சனல் 4 மற்றும் லண்டனின் முக்கிய ஊடகங்கள் ஜனாதிபதிக்கு வாய்ப்பொன்றை அளிக்கத் தயாரானபோதும் அவர் அதனைக் கடுமையான தொனியில் மறுத்து விட்டதாகவும் ஜனாதிபதியின் செயலாளர் தன் நண்பருக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.
இதற்கிடையே ஐம்பதினாயிரத்துக்கும் அதிகமான தமிழ் மக்கள் “Dochester” விடுதியை சுற்றிவளைக்கத் தயாராவதாக அங்கிருந்து கிடைக்கும் தகவல்கள் உறுதிப்படுத்துகின்றன.
அதற்கிடையே போர்க்குற்றம் தொடர்பான குற்றச்சாட்டுகளை எதிர்கொண்டிருக்கும் இராணுவ அதிகாரிகள் ஜனாதிபதியுடன் வருகை தந்திருக்கும் நிலையில் அவர்களைக் குறிவைத்துக் கைது செய்விப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளில் இறங்கியிருப்பதாக பிரித்தானிய நீதித்துறை வட்டாரங்கள் மூலம் தகவல்கள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.
அவ்வாறான நிலையில் தன்னுடன் வந்திருக்கும் யாரேனும் கைது செய்யப்படக்கூடிய சூழ்நிலையை எதிர்கொண்டாலோ அல்லது தான் இருக்குமிடத்தை தமிழ் மக்கள் சுற்றி வளைத்துக் கொண்டாலோ உடனடியாகத் தப்பி விமானம் நிலையம் செல்லத்தக்க வகையில் உலங்கு வானுர்தி ஒன்றைத் தயார் நிலையில் வைத்திருக்குமாறு சிறிலங்கா ஜனாதிபதி பணிப்புரை விடுத்துள்ளதாக அவரது ஊடகக் குழாமின் தகவல்கள் மூலமும் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
